ENIGMA INTERCONNECT INC., expands its manufacturing capacity

Pointe-Claire (Montreal), Canada (January 26, 2009). Enigma Interconnect Inc. (Enigma), a provider of Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS), announced today that it has reactivated its manufacturing plant in Saint-Laurent.

In light of recent announcements of imminent shut-downs of EMS plants and in anticipation of possible additional shut-downs, Enigma decided to increase its manufacturing capacity to compensate for the rapidly disappearing EMS industry capacity.  Enigma is adding 23,000 square feet of mechanical and “box-build” space located in its former plant in Saint-Laurent to its current 52,000 square feet plant in Pointe-Claire for a total of 75,000 square feet.

“…as contrarian as this may appear, this action is in fact part of a long term strategy laid-out in a multi-year plan drafted in the middle of 2007 when Enigma decided to embark on a controlled growth plan that included the acquisition of Innovator from Lyrtech…” said Avraham Elarar president and chief executive officer of Enigma.
